Project Description:
The facility is one of the
largest manufacturers of soft drinks and juice in Lebanon and
the Middle East. The plant has a surface area of approximately
66,000 m2 and includes operational and
administrative buildings, warehouses, green area and auxiliary
facilities. The bottling plant, specialized in carbonated and
juice drinks production, has developed and implemented
performance measures to increase its production capacity
including: safety/regulatory (injury frequency and lost time);
quality (Brix, TA, CO2 and Yeast); product
availability (cases not available to load, forecast accuracy,
schedule compliance, materials availability and percentage of
good forecasts); waste elimination (total plant waste,
production breakage, ingredient and packaging yield loss,
warehouse breakage and finished goods shrinkage); and
productivity (plant, line, and warehouse productivity, filler
downtime and production).
Services:
Diagnose and analyze different pollution loads created by the
production processes at the facility; study production
processes (input, output and consumption of raw materials in
the all operational units), environmental management
practices, water consumption, wastewater generation, air
quality and gaseous emissions, solid waste generation, noise
pollution, energy consumption, and occupational health and
safety; collect water and wastewater (from production
process), noise (inside and outside the facility), and air
samples for analyses; prepare and formulate an action plan for
continual performance improvement; evaluate the effectiveness
of management control systems; and develop recommendations to
minimize possible problems on the environment.
