Restoration/Structural works on Palmyra site, including:

The main
roads within the archeological city:
Replacement of asphalt by concrete slabs that fit in color
with surrounding landscape

Temple of Bel:
Consolidation of openings and doors with steel structural
support systems for visitors safety (along the car
Entrance, at a new ticketing booth)

The Roman Amphitheatre:
Preparation of electrical plans

The Doura Gate:
Landscaping design

The Popular Art Museum:
New layout of museum artifacts with related details;
Survey of structural disorders and remediation with
structural-support systems to walls and vaults;
Preparation of interior design & executive plans and
details for the cafeteria; and design of the permanent
exhibition
Services rendered (by IBDAA s.a.r.l.; Josette Feghali,
Architect/Restorer):
1. Coordinate and liaise
with the local architect, the design architect, the
contracting authority, the supervising consultant and
other selected members of the Project team
2. Supervise the Works
Drawings and as Built Drawings
3. Visit the project site to
assure full conformity with the technical specifications;
4. Reporting on the progress
of works, designs and drawings, structural assessments and
proposed solutions, particularly when facing new issues
affecting restoration/structural/architectural works at
the site
